Do you believe in the power of advocacy to create meaningful change in the lives of those who have been injured and marginalized? If so, we invite you to contribute your voice to our essay contest on advocacy for the underserved and injured. 

In a 750-word essay, explore the experiences of individuals who have been injured or live with disabilities, the advocacy efforts aimed at improving their quality of life and promoting inclusivity, and examine the obstacles that prevent marginalized groups from accessing vital services, opportunities, and rights. Essay Topic: Advocacy for the Underserved and Injured. 

Scholarship Details

  • Essay Topic: Advocacy for the Underserved and Injured 
  • Award: $1,000
  • Essay Length: 800 words

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, or community college in the United States.
  • High school students may apply if they have been accepted to an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum GPA requirement: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Application Requirements

To be considered for the Mann Blake & Jackson Law Firm Essay Scholarship, applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Resume: Include contact details for efficient communication.
  • Academic Transcript: Provide your academic transcript, including your cumulative GPA.
  • Original Essay: Craft a compelling essay of 750 words on the given topic, “Advocacy for the Underserved and Injured.” 

Application Deadline

All application materials must be submitted by February 10, 2025.
