Wes has spent almost twenty years working in the healthcare industry where he represented clients in state and federal court matters and in state and federal agency matters. Wes regularly represents clients in federal and state whistleblower cases involving healthcare and banking fraud, nursing home/assisted living negligence, defamation, breach of contract, corporate/shareholder disputes, and wrongful termination. Most recently, Wes was recognized in August 2021 as a “Legal Elite of the Midlands” in the area of healthcare law by Columbia Business Monthly magazine.
Wes grew up in Camden, South Carolina, the son of a nursing home director of nursing. He attended Clemson University for his undergraduate studies, the Medical University of South Carolina where he received a masters degree in healthcare administration and then he moved to Columbia, SC to study health administration and law at the University of South Carolina. After graduation, Wes worked at Nexsen Pruet, an NLJ 350 Law Firm. He also has worked as a General Counsel for a large healthcare provider. Wes is married and has one son at Clemson University and one in high school in Columbia, South Carolina.
